Best overseas bases in the Air Force

Top five overseas air force base locations. Now, these are going to be completely subjective to my opinion, because there’s a lot of factors that can go into what makes a place your favorite. I’m just picking places that I think would be really awesome to travel to. So number five is going to be Lake and Heath, which is in England, in the UK. And you can travel to London, which is really awesome.

You can also travel to Scotland and Wales, and it’s pretty close to Ireland, which is somewhere that I have always wanted to go. And there are castle ruins, so why not now? Before we get into the next ones, I want to mention the sponsor of today’s video, sandbox. If you have not gone to BMT yet, make sure you check out sandbox and tell your friends and family because they simplify the way you can send and receive mail at BMT and it makes things so much easier. Highly recommend checking them out.

Also, they can help you book your travel to see your loved one graduate. And they have so many resources to help your friends and family navigate your military career. For more information, be sure to check them out at sandbox us. Okay, so number four is going to be Rammstein, which is in Germany. The landscape looks absolutely beautiful there.

There are so many castles and you can easily travel to other countries. France is literally right next door, so you can take a four hour train ride and go visit Paris. Number three would be Anderson, which is on the island of Guam. Now, I personally love the tropical weather and the beaches, so I absolutely would take the island life. I have had a lot of friends who have been stationed in Guam, and they have absolutely loved it.

So I think it would be a dream to travel there. Now, keeping with the island theme, number two is going to be Kadena Air base in Okinawa, Japan. Now, I am a little bit biased because my husband and I were actually stationed there when he was in the air force, and we loved it so much. Okinawa is a gorgeous tropical island. The culture there, the people are so amazing.

We loved going to the beaches and adventuring all the time, and we even took the opportunity to go travel to some other asian countries like Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia. So we definitely would go back and I would recommend it to anybody. So my number one overseas air force base location is going to be aviano, Italy. Now, this is a place that I have always wanted to travel to ever since before I left Ohio. They have beautiful beaches, beautiful architecture, and unfortunately, I still haven’t been there yet.

I will make it there one day. But because of all of that, because it’s been the number one place I have always wanted to travel to. That is why it is number one on my list of overseas air force bases. So I would love to hear from you all down below. Let me know what you all think your top overseas air force bases are or if you have been to any of them, share your experience down below.

That way we can help others know what it’s going to be like if they ever have the chance to go there. Thank you for watching. Be sure to subscribe and I’ll see you in another video.
