Plenty Vaporizer Review: A Good Vaporizer For Use At Home

sb-plentyMade by the German company Storz & Bickel, the Plenty Vaporizer may look like a soldering iron at first, but it is actually a vaporizer.

The handheld vaporizer unit uses a direct delivery style that is reminiscent of the typically whip-style vaporizers.

The stainless steel cooling coil, however, is not the usual wand that everybody has come to know.

The Plenty offers a whole new experience when it comes to drawing vapor at home.

The Double Helix Heat of the Plenty Vaporizer

The system uses a double helix heat exchanger, coupled with the oven, to produce a very thick vapor. Thick vapors ensure that the flavor is delivered effectively to the user. Both dry blends and liquids can be vaporized, so there’s no problem whether users would want to switch between the two. And because this costs less than the highest rated vaporizing devices, it’s a sure winner for those who want high-quality vapor for use in the comforts of their home.

Size and Power

The Plenty is about 8.86” x 6.1x and around 2” wide. The weight is at 1.5 pounds, which is fairly okay for plenty-box_1handheld use. It uses a standard AC power adapter. The cord directly plugs into wall outlets, so forget about bringing this along. The regulators control the temperature, as well as the automatic shut-off to prevent it from overheating.

The dial on the side lets users to choose their desired temperature. The highest level goes up to around 390F, or around 202C. It offers fast heat up times, in under a minute, and also shuts off automatically when it isn’t in use.

 Features and Options

The 1.5-pound Plenty vaporizer vaporizes liquids and concentrates, as well, which is not very much considered by other home vaporizers. To allow the Plenty to vaporize liquids, insert the included stainless steel liquid pad into the filling chamber, and drop your liquids slowly.

One pad absorbs about 10 drops at a time, but the manufacturer recommends users to drop it as little as required to maintain the best possible flavor. The stainless steel wires of the pad acts as fibers to effectively vaporize the liquid concentrates.

plenty-accessories_600x600_1Of course, the storz and bickel Plenty vaporizer  also uses dry blends and dried herbs. Just hold the base of the cooling coil, twist it, and open the filling chamber. Load the blend into the chamber, and close the chamber again.

Another good thing about the Plenty vape is that users can actually combine dry blends, as well as liquids. Just insert the blends and put the liquid pad on top of your blends.

Click the power switch on the side to turn it on. The light will turn orange to let you know that it is heating, and will turn off once your chosen temperature level kicks in.

Once it’s ready, just draw the vapor at the end of the cooling coil. There’s also a trigger button near the handle that easily activates the heating element if it shuts off itself due to safety purposes.
